Dear Friend: On September 19, 2011 we will celebrate the 20th consecutive year of an event which is an important fund raiser for our town’s seniors.  In tribute to the late John Falconi, “The Falconi Family Memorial Golf Tournament” donates one hundred percent of the proceeds from this fun day of golf to the Town of Southborough’s Senior Center. The funds are used to sponsor programming, assist in transportation costs, and support vital opportunities for the over 1,400 senior citizens in the town of Southborough.

We invite you to assist us in making 2011 our most successful year yet.  There are several opportunities available to help: 

  • Join us on the golf course!
    Juniper Hill Golf Course in Northborough will again be the site of the tournament and banquet.  Registration form is here. If you are unable to form a team of four, we will do our best to pair you with other golfers

  • Be a "Hole Sponsor! "
    Promote your business locally by having your business’s name prominently displayed on the day of the tournament as well as mentioned in the local newspaper.  If you are interested in sponsoring other parts of the event – such as funding food, the golf carts, or other specific items – please let us know so that we can facilitate your request. 

  • Donate a Prize for our Raffle!
    Our annual post-tournament raffle raises much needed money for the Senior Center.  Donors are announced and thanked before each item is raffled. 

  • Make a Charitable Donation!
    Even if you are not a golfer or cannot make the tournament, you can still help our seniors.  We are in need of sponsors for various expenses -- e.g.: breakfast, golf gifts, etc.  All donations, large or small, are greatly appreciated and help us make the tournament an enjoyable event for all.

  • Your sponsorship, gift, or donation is tax-deductible as The Friends of the Southborough Council on Aging is a 501(c)(3) organization.
